Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Fazzone Construction Co. for the Lake Creek Park Improvement Project.

The project includes the demolition of existing park amenities and construction of a new playground, Greater Lake Creek Trail segment (connects Clay Madsen Rec Center to Downtown Round Rock), park pavilion, rest room building, and site furnishings (picnic tables, grills, benches, and trash receptacles).
This project was identified in Year 3 of the PARD Repair and Replacement Program. Staff met with the neighborhood twice over the past year to gather input on the park master plan and improvement plan. The final improvement plan presented to the neighborhood received positive feedback and the neighborhood was excited to see the redevelopment efforts. It also aligns with the Game On: Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the City Strategic Goals under Places and Spaces:
-Prevent neighborhood deterioration
-Improve City aesthetics, development and redevelopment quality, and sustainability
-Identify and plan for future connectivity and mobility needs and options
Cost: $384,419.06
