Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract with Utz Environmental Services for the Old Settlers Park Practice Field Improvement Project.

This item will allow the City to contract with Utz Environmental Services to install an irrigation system in Old Settlers Park between the Triple Crown Complex and the Silver Slugger Complex. This practice field will replace the existing practice field located to the southeast of the Silver Slugger Complex. Teams use this area to warm up and practice prior to games or when the fields are closed.
The relocation of the practice field paves the way for the beginning of the much larger OSP Bond Buildout Project. The practice field must be moved to allow for construction of a parking lot to replace the parking at Tennis/Apex Fields that will be removed from PARD's inventory when the Multipurpose Field Complex is expanded.
Cost: $121,437.00
