Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 2 with Aguirre & Fields, LP for the Old Settlers Extension Project.

This segment of Old Settlers Blvd is a missing link in the existing roadway system and will provide an important connection for one of our east/west routes in Round Rock. This connection is identified in the City's 2017 Transportation Master Plan. The proposed section will be a four lane urban roadway pavement section extension of Old Settlers Blvd in Round Rock, TX. The project limits will begin at N Red Bud Lane and end at CR 110.
Supplemental #2 includes additional work required of the consultant including:
Additional work required in working with Oncor utility company in coordinating work for their pole upgrades with this CORR project within the same ROW. This included multiple revisions to the plans as Oncor changed their pole locations a number of times.
Additional work for the CORR lawyers in preparing exhibits and ROW information required for the acquisition of the Burge property which runs directly through the transportation project.
Additional project management services due to the project being extended due to utility and ROW matters long past our original anticipated design/construction timeline.
Miscellaneous design changes required by utility and ROW revisions.
SC # 2 adds $178,285.80 to the contract. This included with previous revisions brings the total contract amount to $1,645,537.03.
