Consider a resolution authorizing the General Manager to execute standard documents and change orders that involve a decrease, or an increase of $50,000 or less.
Body
The purpose of this resolution is to formally grant, heretofore practiced, authority of the BCRUA General Manager to execute standard documents, including change orders involving a decrease, or an increase of $50,000 or less.
The BCRUA Bylaws gives the Board of Directors authority to grant the General Manager general authority to execute contracts, change orders, quantity adjustments, and to authorize the General Manager to make expenditures of funds, so long as such authority is in compliance with the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, and state law.
Staff, the Operations Committee and General Counsel recommend approval of the attached resolution formalizing this authority.
