Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Board President to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 to a Contract for Engineering Services with Walker Partners in an amount not to exceed $75,000, on a time and materials basis, to provide additional litigation engineering services for the underwater pipeline project.  

 

Body

In May 2023 a contract with Walker Partners was approved by the Board for provision of litigation support engineering services related to the underwater pipeline project in the amount of $49,201.  It has now become necessary to amend this contract to increase the compensation due to a need for additional litigation engineering support services.  Attached is Supplemental Contract No. 1 to this engineering services agreement with additional scope of services and an increase in the contract by $75,000, for a new total of $124,201.

 

The BCRUA general counsel, BCRUA staff, and the Operations Committee (OC) recommend approval of the attached resolution authorizing the President to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 to a Contract for Engineering Services with Walker Partners.

 

 

Cost: $75,000.00
