Consider an ordinance amending Chapter 42, Section 42-127, Code of Ordinances (20218 Edition), by amending speed zones on portions of Kenney Fort Boulevard from Forest Creek Drive to Old Settlers Boulevard. (First Reading) (Requires Two Readings)

A speed study was recently conducted along Kenney Fort Boulevard between Forest Creek Drive and Old Settlers Boulevard. The study was conducted to determine if the current speed limits are appropriate for the existing and newly constructed sections of roadway. The study concluded that the roadway speed limit be set at 50 mph.
The recommended revisions are:
-Remove from table 42-127 (5) "Kenney Fort Boulevard, from Joe DiMaggio, to 500 LF south of Joe DiMaggio"
-Revise table 42-157(8) as follows: "Kenney Fort Boulevard, from 500 LF south of Joe DiMaggio, from Old Settler's Boulevard, to Forest Creek Drive"
