Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Fun Abounds, Inc. for the purchase and installation of playground equipment for the Bowman Park through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

Body

This item will authorize the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Fun Abounds for the purchase and installation of playground equipment at Bowman Park.  The existing playground at Bowman Park was installed in 2009 and has outlived its productive life.  Typically PARD tries to replace playground every 12-15 years, so this replacement is in line with that goal.  The purchase of this playground will utilize CDBG funding and be a part of the overall renovation of Bowman Park.  Previous year's CDBG allotments have replaced the decomposed granite trail with concrete, expanded the looping trail, and made ADA improvements. 

Cost: $155,623.00
