Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Guaranteed Price Amendment to the Construction Manager at Risk Standard Form of Agreement between the City and SpawGlass Contractors, Inc. for the Rock’N River Expansion Package 3C.
Rock’N River Expansion Package 3C includes construction of a new Action River, Infinity Edge Pool, Cabanas, Shaded Seating Areas, and a Restroom/Pump Filtration Building. For the Action River, each side of the river will have different actions. One side will use a Typhoon River Wave Machine with adjustable wave sizing. The other side of the river will be a Barrell Roll River Wave with a barrel dump water wave action. Included in this package is the East Parking Expansion adding eighty-eight parking spaces to the existing Rock’ N River parking lot and the first phase of the new Recreation Center parking creating 81 more parking spaces for the Rock’N River Expansion opening. With City Council’s approval of the GMP, construction can start February 2025 and be substantially complete by April 2026.
