Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Vulpine Resilience, PLLC for mental health services for the Police Department.
Body
The proposed professional services contract would provide critical-incident and related counseling services to Police Department personnel. Currently, the Department has a single service provider contracted to provide treatment for a range of mental health services. The proposed contract provides the Department with an additional vendor to provide services that include Critical Incident Stress Management; therapy for officers and staff; resilience checks; collaboration with the Department's Peer Support Team; and on-call, critical incident management. This contract has a not-to-exceed amount of $150,000 over its five-year term. The Department does not anticipate a budgetary impact for this contract, as it is not expanding the services currently provided to personnel.
