Title
Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to "Agreement Between the City of Round Rock and CP&Y, Inc. dba STV Infrastructure for Professional Consulting Services related to the Kenney Fort Boulevard, Segment 5 24-Inch Waterline Extension Project."
Body
The City of Round Rock’s Water System Master Plan, updated in 2023, identified several areas of improvement to the water distribution system to support growth within the City’s water service area. Several projects were identified within the 10-year Capital Improvement Plan.
The master plan identified the need to extend a 24-inch water transmission main from Old Settlers Boulevard north to Wallin Bradley Drive to serve the east side of the City due to the growth. The Kenney Fort Boulevard Segment 5 roadway project is currently under design. The proposed water line will follow the road alignment and will be bid and constructed together with the roadway project. This is a water impact fee eligible project.
A preliminary design was completed in 2024 to determine the alignment of the water transmission main in coordination with the roadway project. This request is for the approval of Supplemental Agreement No. 1 in the amount of $338,681 with STV, Inc. for design, bid, and construction phase services.
Cost: $338,681
