Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 with DeNucci Constructors, LLC for the Brushy Creek Trail Veterans Park to Rabb Park Project.

This item includes all work associated with Change Directive #1. This work includes extending the box culvert (pedestrian underpass) from Lance Lane at the Creek Apartments approximately 85 linear feet to the east. This will allow less excavation at the adjacent property and will provide a space that can be backfilled and terraced for better slope stability. Since the box culvert will be extended, this change order also includes deleting the walls and all other associated items (fencing, flagstone, etc.) that would have been constructed otherwise.
This project includes approximately one mile of a 10' wide concrete trail starting at Georgetown St. and connecting to the existing trail near A.W. Grimes Blvd. This portion of the trail will include a pedestrian underpass at Lance Ln. near the Creek Apartments and a pedestrian bridge over the drainage ditch feeding Brushy Creek.
