The City opened bids for the Gattis School Road Improvements - Segment 6 Project on September 25, 2025. Smith Contracting was the low bid and received Council Approval for the project. A Notice to Proceed was issued for February 2, 2026.
Quantity Adjustment/Change Order (QA/CO) No. 1 includes items that were originally thought to be in the inventory of materials previously purchased by the City and were either missing, incomplete, or non compliant per City specifications. The total addition for these materials is $942,291.47. QA/CO No. 1 also includes credit back for traffic signal items that had been previously purchased by the City and were in the bid price. The total deduction for these items is $865,434.00. The net change in the contract price is $76,857.47 making the new construction contract price $20,530,070.33.
