The City opened construction bids on February 27, 2024 for the Gattis School Road, Segment 3 Project. The low bidder was Cash Construction with a bid of $26,735,973.35. The Notice-to-Proceed to start construction was August 26, 2024.
Quantity Adjustment/Change Order (QA/CO) No. 3 was for additional changer order items such as improvements to the HOA sign and replanting vegetation, moving a fire hydrant not shown on the plans, installation of irrigation sleeves, demolition of the median at the Clay Madsen Center, and curb cuts. The total for the change order portion is $39,919.77. Quantity adjustments include additional sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter, and overruns with the Type B hot-mix asphalt. Also included are credits for trench drains, water pressure tap, and a 16-inch tee water fitting. The total amount for the quantity adjustments is $457,841.50. The total for this QA/CO No. 3 is $497,761.27 which brings the new contract price to $27,654,744.68.
