Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Agreement between the City of Round Rock and Westwood Professional Services, Inc. for Professional Consulting Services related to the CR 118 Wastewater Line Project.

The City of Round Rock’s Wastewater Master Plan, updated in November 2023, identified several areas of improvement to the wastewater system to support development within the City’s wastewater service area. Several projects were identified to extend the wastewater system to support growth within the 10-year Capital Improvement Plan.
Based on projected growth in the northeast area of the City, a new wastewater line along County Road (CR) 118 is needed to extend the McNutt Interceptor. The wastewater line will extend along CR 118 north from the west side of SH 130 to University Blvd. The CR 118 roadway project is currently under design, and the proposed wastewater line will be included in the project so that the utilities can be bid and constructed with the roadway.
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. recently completed the preliminary engineering for the wastewater line. This request is for a Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Westwood to complete the engineering associated with the design, bid, and construction phase of the project. The total cost of Westwood’s service is $285,550.00.
