Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Engagement Letter with Allensworth Law to defend the City of Round Rock in the lawsuit styled Thalle Construction Company, Inc. v. City of Round Rock, Cause No. 26-1071-C480 in the 480th Judicial District of Williamson County, Texas. 

 

Body

This is an Engagement Letter for Alllensworth Law to continue to represent the City of Round Rock in a lawsuit filed by Thalle Construction re: the BCRWWS 30MGD Project. The City has an existing Engagement Letter with Allensworth that was executed pre-litigation with a NTE amount that the City has previously supplemented. This new Engagement Letter replaces the previous Engagement Letter and Supplementals and will cover Allensworth's legal services through the entirety of the litigation.
