The City of Round Rock is committed to reviewing and updating the impact fees charged to new customers for tying into the water and wastewater systems to ensure the fees remain accurate. The City’s last update to the water and wastewater impact fees went into effect 2021. The City of Round Rock has now completed a new impact fee study with updates to the land use, capital improvement plan and impact fees. The City of Round Rock requests that a public hearing be held at the Council Chambers, 221 E. Main Street, Round Rock, Texas on October 26, 2023 at the regular meeting of the City Council commencing at 6:00pm. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the amendment of land use assumptions, a capital improvements plan and the imposition of an updated water and wastewater impact fee. Additional information regarding the updated land use assumptions, capital improvements plan, impact fee service areas and proposed impact fees will be available at City Hall for 30-days prior to the public hearing.
