Title
Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with HydroPro Solutions for annual water meter software hosting, maintenance, and warranty services for the City's Advanced Metering Infrastructure.
Body
The City of Round Rock utilizes an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system to electronically gather and transmit water meter readings across the utility network. This system relies heavily on a specialized network of base stations and repeaters distributed throughout the service area to ensure continuous, accurate, and secure data transmission from customer meters to the billing system. To maintain system integrity and minimize data disruptions, the City requires ongoing technical support, firmware updates, hardware maintenance, and extended warranty coverage for this critical data gathering infrastructure.
This agreement shall remain in effect for a period of five years and shall not exceed $87,524 annually, for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $437,622 over the five year term.
