Consider executing an Agreement with DataProse, LLC for the purchase of goods, labor and services to print, insert and mail City utility bills. This contract is authorized through an Interlocal Agreement for Joint and Cooperative Purchasing with the City of Cedar Park that was executed on July 9, 2009, pursuant to Resolution No. R-09-07-09-9A1, which is incorporated into this contract. State law allows cities to enter into Interlocal Agreements between governing bodies to satisfy bidding requirements when purchasing goods and services.
Services to be provided cover all aspects of utility bill printing, mailing and distribution (including inserts and reporting to customers), along with other technical and address correction services.
The City’s contract with DataProase, LLC will begin from the date of award and shall remain in effect for sixty (60) months. Staff recommends approval of this item.
Cost: $1,000,000, approximately $200,000 per year
