Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 2 with Chasco Constructors, LTD., LLP for the E. Bagdad Avenue Project.

 

Body

Chasco Constructors is the General Contractor for this project which includes the civil work, roadway improvements, utility improvements and sidewalks. The amount of the original contract for the civil side was $1,324,424.00.

 

Change Order #1 was for City Hall fiber installation, roof drainage tie ins for the parking garage, Masonry repair on City Hall, Water Line revisions, and pavement revisions to omit the lime course due to the rocky soil.  It was in the amount of $100,672.00.

 

Change Order #2 is for the planting of a new Oak tree to replace the dying one that had been removed, additional sleeving for utilities, Manhole coring, relocation of the existing electrical junction box on the bridge, additional tree wells, irrigation sleeves, existing sewer service tie-ins, existing water meter tie-ins, and dry utility revisions. 

 

The amount of this change order is $109,670.91. The adjusted price is $1,534,766.91.
