Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Cedar Park, the City of Georgetown, the City of Leander, and the City of Taylor regarding Countywide Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Response.

Body

This ILA is an agreement between the City of Round Rock and Williamson County for the provision of Hazardous Materials response.  The Fire Department has and continues to be a strong partner and member of the Williamson County Hazardous Materials response team.  Up to this point, there has been no formal agreement in place between any City or ESD fire department and Williamson County for providing hazardous materials response, which is the reason for this ILA.
