Body
?The City of Round Rock’s wastewater flows into the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater System (BCRWWS). The collection system consists of several regional interceptors, the largest of which is the Brushy Creek Interceptor. It begins to the west in Cedar Park and continues east into Round Rock. Flows from the partner cities enter the interceptor at numerous points along the way and ultimately converge as they near the treatment plants downstream. The flow is conveyed to the West Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the East WWTP, with the majority of flow entering the East WWTP for treatment.

Grimes Boulevard and continuing to the East WWTP. Walker Partners was recently selected as the most qualified firm to perform engineering services for this project and will assist the partners in evaluating options to increase capacity and address rehabilitation needs for the portion of this Brushy Creek Interceptor.

The project cost allocations are based on flow projections for the year 2040. The City of Round Rock’s cost allocation is 53.33%. Under the ILA, the City of Round Rock staff will manage the proje...
