Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract with Dan Williams Company for the CR 112 West Project.

The proposed County Road 112 roadway improvements is a high priority Arterial in the Northeast quadrant of the City. This roadway is being constructed as a 6-lane urban facility with select median openings. This roadway project begins at AW Grimes Boulevard and ends just east of County Road 117. There is a second County Road 112 east project proposed to be bid in the next couple of months that will continue the improvements eastward to County Road 110.
Ten (10) bids for the referenced project were received on August 13, 2024. RPS, the design firm, has tabulated and reviewed all the bids and the low bidder was Dan Williams Company with a
base bid of $13,007,803.35, and by including the add alternate bid of $111,909.00, the project total is $13,119,712.35. It should be noted that our recommendation is based on the lowest bid, and the City reserves the right to determine if a bid is invalid based on the rules and regulations set forth in the bid documents.
