This Quantity Adjustment/Change Order (QA/CO) No. 2 incorporates revisions to the Greenlawn Boulevard Improvement Project resulting from updated design requirements to match revisions in The District site improvements and TxDOT's CAPEX project along the IH35 frontage road.
QA/CO No. 1 previously incorporated revisions to the Greenlawn Boulevard Improvement Project resulting from updated design requirements, constructability review, and coordination with the ongoing CLOMR approval process resulting in a reduction in contract amount.
This QA/CO No. 2 to the construction contract with Austin Engineering Company, Inc. provides for quantity adjustments and additional work items necessary to accommodate field conditions and project coordination encountered during coordination with The District and TxDOT. Major items include adjustments to stormwater infrastructure, pavement markings, and driveway modifications due to District changes, addition of traffic signal for major retailer, waterline appurtenances, and limited concrete traffic barrier adjacent to the Gilleland Creek bridge construction area for enhanced traffic safety. The QA/CO No. 2 also includes corresponding credits for removed or revised quantities associated with the original contract work.
