Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to Consent and Acknowledge to an Assignment of the Economic Development Agreement between KR CC, Inc. and DR Acquisitions and the City of Round Rock and the Round Rock Transportation and Economic Development Corporation. 

 

Body

Kalahari has requested that a certain portion of future Economic Incentive Payments (EIPs) be assigned to Saba II LLC (Candy Store). Specifically, the City will pay sales tax EIPs related to the Candy Store directly to Saba II LLC per the terms of the Assignment. The Economic Development Agreement requires the City to consent and acknowledge any assignment of benefits. Consent and Acknowledgment by TEDCO is not required per the terms of the Economic Development Agreement.
