Title

Consider a resolution approving the action of the Round Rock Transportation and Economic Development Corporation in amending the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP).

 

Body

 

This amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) includes a budget adjustment and determining the projects listed in the TCIP meet the requirements for a project pursuant to the Local Government Code. The primary objective of this amendment is to increase or add additional funding for multiple projects.  The items included in the amendment are the following:

 

1) Determine if the two projects listed below meet the requirements for a project pursuant to the Local Government Code and establish budgets for these two new projects. Proposed budgets for the following projects:

a) Add budget for new project Chisholm Trail Road at Brushy Creek Sidewalk Connection by $1,500,000 for engineering services.

b) Add budget for new project Northeast Downtown Improvements Phase 2 (Sheppard Street) by $2,500,000 for engineering services.

 

2) Increase budgets for the following projects:

a) Increase the budget for County Road 118 Widening (University Boulevard to SH 130) by $2,500,000 for Right-of-Way Acquisition.

b) Increase the budget for Gattis School Road Segments 4 & 5 (Double Creek Drive to Meister Lane & Rusk Road to Via Sonoma Trail) by $1,500,000 for Right-of-Way      Acquisition.

c) Increase the budget for Greenlawn Boulevard Improvements by $11,000,000 for Construction & Contingency.

d) Sam Bass Road & Hairy Man Road Intersection Improvements by $1,000,000 for Right-of-Way Acquisition.

 

                     

This amendment to the TCIP budget results in an additional programming of Type B by $20,000,000.
