Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Veolia Water Technologies Treatment Solutions USA for the purchase of Aquaray UV Systems.

Body

The Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) uses Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection as part of the wastewater treatment process. The UV System is very important to the treatment plant in meeting our effluent discharge parameters.

Veolia Water Improvements was the company selected for this contract, since they are the sole-source provider of the regional plants and services being purchased pursuant to this agreement.

The WWTP recommends this contract with Veolia Water Technologies Treatment Solutions USA for a total amount not to exceed $203,795.37.  These cost are shared by the partner cities in the Brushy Creek Regional WWTP.  Term of agreement is through December 31, 2025.
