Consider a resolution rejecting all bids submitted for the Stark Park Improvement Project 2022.

On December 6th, 2022, the Parks and Recreation Department accepted bids for the Stark Park Improvement Project 2022. This project included the demolition of an asphalt tennis court and construction of a new post tension tennis court and associated seating area. The estimated cost of construction was approximately $190,000. The only bid received was in the amount of $300,440.00; however, the funding for this project is only $198,189.86. PARD recommends rejecting this bid so they can reevaluate the scope to determine cost savings before going back out to bid for the work.
