The CAPER report provides accountability to the public by describing successes in meeting objectives stipulated in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan and provides necessary information for HUD's Annual Report to Congress. The CAPER also provides necessary information for HUD to meet its statutory requirement to assess Round Rock's ability to carry out relevant programs in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. The CAPER is due online to the HUD San Antonio field office by December 29, 2025.
The public comment period is December 1, 2025 to December 19, 2025. The public notice appeared in the Round Rock Leader on November 28, 2025 and was also posted at City Hall on November 24, 2025.
The City of Round Rock's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2024-2025 Program Year was the First Year in the City's CDBG Five Year Consolidated Plan (2024-2028). In this program year, the city was awarded $642,233 in CDBG funds. In the 2024-2025 Program Year the City of Round Rock continued to deliver programs and implement activities to achieve the goals and objectives described in the 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan and the 2024 Annual Action Plan. A total of $516,481.96 in CDBG funds were expended during the 2024 Program Year. (this includes 2024 program year funds and prior year funds).
