Consider a resolution authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for fiscal year 2025 for the Section 5339(a) funding allocation in the amount of $100,939. These funds have been reallocated from Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Designated Recipient for the Austin Urbanized Area to the City of Round Rock.
This grant will be used to support upgrades and structural repairs to the Round Rock Intermodal Parking and Transit Facility (Transit Center). The upgrades and repairs will enhance the safety, functionality and longevity for this critical transportation hub helping to sustain and maintain the transit infrastructure for years to come.
Total Grant Funds Requested is $100,939. The City's matching requirements is $25,234.
