Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement for Pass-Through Wastewater Service with Vista Oaks Municipal Utility District regarding the Gardens at Mayfield Ranch.

Body

The Gardens of Mayfield Ranch subdivision is located along New Hope Drive, just east of County Road 175, within Round Rock’s water and wastewater service area.

Wastewater from the subdivision is conveyed through the Vista Oaks Municipal Utility District (MUD) wastewater system and routed to a MUD lift station, where it is pumped into the City of Round Rock’s wastewater collection system.

An agreement for pass-through wastewater service between the City of Round Rock and Vista Oaks MUD was executed on August 10, 2015, for the subdivision. That agreement has since expired, and the City is seeking to enter into a new agreement.

Under the proposed agreement, the City of Round Rock will pay $3.75 per month per living unit equivalent (LUE) conveyed through the MUD system. The agreement is based on 135 LUEs, resulting in an annual cost of $6,075.

Cost: $6,075 per year
