This item is a five-year agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for a law enforcement mobile video and evidence management solution. The Axon Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution includes body-worn cameras, in-car recording systems, implementation services, a built in hardware refresh program and unlimited cloud storage on the Axon cloud-based evidence management system.
The City originally entered into an agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc in 2020. The original agreement term was for five years. This agreement is the first renewal of that original agreement and extends the use of Axon technologies through 2029.
The new five-year agreement will be funded through the General Fund, specifically the IT department’s maintenance operating budget and will total $4,446,427.85 over five years.
