Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with GT Distributors, Inc. for the supply of uniforms for the Police and Fire Departments.

The proposed resolution authorizes a four-year contract with GT Distributors for uniform items and has a not-to-exceed amount of $1,400,000.00 over the course of its term. The contract sets prices and quantities for Police and Fire uniforms and related apparel items, as well as for patches, embroidery, and alterations. In addition, the contract provides for discounts from catalog prices for various clothing manufacturers. Finally, the contract recognizes there are two providers of these goods and services and may elect to use either of the two contracted providers - the other being Galls, LLC. Council approved a similar contract with that vendor in December.
Cost: Not to exceed $1,400,00.00.
