Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract for Engineering Services with Westwood Professional Services, Inc. for the County Road 118 Improvements Project.

 

Body

This engineering contract is for the design of CR 118 to allow for reconstruction and upgrade in support of current and anticipated traffic volume. This project is in compliance with the recently updated Transportation Master Plan. This Project will Design CR 118 from University Drive to the West of SH 130 as an ultimate 4-lane divided urban arterial with plans for an interim 3-lane rural section to be constructed initially. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. will provide full 3-lane construction plans and 4-lane layout design with bid and construction phases services.

 

The contract is in the amount $957,366.00
