Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Reimbursement Agreement with Google Fiber, Inc. related to the Gattis School Road (Segment 3) Project.

In order to facilitate the Google Fiber Network that is being installed in the City and to speed up the installation process, Google Fiber and the City of Round Rock will entered into an agreement for the City's contractor to install the necessary conduits for Google along the Gattis School Segment 3 section. Gattis School Segment 3 extends from Windy Park to Double Creek Drive.
Google will pay all actual costs involved including the engineering and materials for the installation of the conduits along the Gattis School corridor. All work items were included in the project bidding list and the cost estimate is $162,268 for the conduits and $10,000 for the engineering costs the City has incurred thus far in the process. The total estimated agreement amount is $172,268.
