Consider a resolution authorizing the reimbursement to QT South, LLC for the cost of oversizing a wastewater line for the QuickTrip 79 & 110 Development Project.

This agenda item is to request approval of a wastewater oversize reimbursement for the QuikTrip 79 & 110 (SIP2211-0003) development.
The wastewater main is approximately 2,760 linear feet along the north side of US 79, beginning just east of the existing Wal-Mart and extending to the northeast corner of US 79 an CR 110. The Quick Trip development required a 12-inch wastewater line to be constructed in order to serve the development. There is 499 linear feet of wastewater line that the City of Round Rock requested to be oversized from a 12-inch main to a 24-inch main. There is also 2,260 linear feet of wastewater line that the City of Round Rock requested be oversized from a 12-inch main to a 15-inch main. This wastewater main will be used to provide future developments based upon the City’s Wastewater System Masterplan. At this time the wastewater main has been constructed and the City of Round Rock has taken ownership of the main.
The value of the oversize is based on the City of Round Rock’s reimbursement ordinance of $13.50 per inch oversize per foot, which results in an oversize reimbursement of $172,469.66 to QT South, LLC.
