Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Sales and Service Agreement with Xerox Business Solutions, LLC for ongoing copier maintenance services and supplies.
The City previously exercised the buy-out option for leased Xerox copier equipment and desires to continue maintenance and supply services for City-owned devices located throughout various City departments and facilities. The agreement provides maintenance support, labor, parts, toner, drums, monitoring support, and automated meter collection and supply replenishment services for Xerox multifunction printers and copiers utilized across the organization. Paper is excluded from the agreement.
The agreement includes service coverage for equipment utilized by multiple City departments including Finance, Police, Fire, Planning, Parks and Recreation, Utilities, General Services, Transportation, Library Services, and other operational facilities throughout the City.
The initial agreement term is for twelve (12) months with automatic annual renewals unless terminated in accordance with the agreement terms. The total first-year cost under the agreement is $52,281. Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
