Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract with Royal Vista, Inc. for the Greenbelt Stormwater and Waterline Improvements Project.

On October 22, 2020, the City executed an Engineering Services Contract with LJA Engineering, Inc. This contract included design phase services for improvements to increase capacity in the Round Rock West Greenbelt Channel as well as replace an aging water distribution line in the area.
The design included the addition of a new stormwater line, inlets, and sidewalk drains, as well as upsizing an existing water distribution line for the water utilities. The channel improvements include rock and concrete riprap, new outfall structures, and the reconstruction of disturbed structures, such as sidewalks, curb and gutter.
On August 22, 2023, the City received nine bids for the construction of the designed improvements. The City is recommending contracting with Royal Vista, Inc. for the execution of the construction of the Base Bid for the Greenbelt Stormwater and Waterline Improvements Project for a total contract award of $1,143,860.25. The engineer's construction estimate for the Base Bid was $1,529,690.52.
