Body

In 2016, the Council asserted it was a good time to update the Administration and Funding Agreement for the City of Round Rock Economic Development Program between the City of Round Rock, the Round Rock Transportation and Economic Development Corporation, and the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. The existing agreement had be in place with only slight modification for over a decade. As such, Council Members Baese and Leffingwell rallied the relevant staff members from the City of Round Rock and decision makers from the Chamber of Commerce to ensure the update captured the spirit of the Economic Development Partnership.

In essence, the updated agreement better reflects the business practices utilized to execute the functions set forth in the agreement and establishes a strategic planning function in an effort to ensure success of the Partnership.
