Consider public testimony regarding the annexation of a 1.517 acre portion of CR 107 Spur right-of-way south of CR 107 and north of Chandler Road.

This property consists of CR 107 Spur right-of-way (ROW) on the east side of SH 130 north of Chandler Road alongside the existing QuikTrip. The annexation of ROW is required where the city seeks to annex property adjacent to the ROW, and two public hearings are required before the ROW can be annexed. In this case, the ROW annexation will be followed by annexation and original zoning for the QuikTrip tract. The City notified Williamson County of its intent to annex the ROW pursuant to Section 43.1055 of the Local Government Code. Williamson County approved the release at the February 10, 2026, Commissioners Court meeting. This serves as the second of two statutorily required public hearings for right-of-way annexation; no city council action is required or permitted aside from conducting the public hearing. Annexation of the ROW as well as annexation and zoning of the QuikTrip property are scheduled for the April 23, 2026, city council meeting.
