Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Carrier Corporation for the purchase and installation of six new HVAC units and an energy management Control System at the McConico Building. 

Body

With this agreement we are replacing six HVAC units and the energy management system.  The new energy management system will be based off the same platform as City Hall and the Sports Center.  Typical life span of a commercial HVAC is 12 to 14 years.  The McConico building had the units first turned on in April 2002.  Over the last few years we have had countless service calls for repair to those units. The Current energy management system is very outdated and fails frequently due to its age, having the whole City on one energy management platform will allow for ease of operations and efficiency.

Cost: $271,630.00
