This item will authorize the City Council to enter into an agreement with Daniel Besa dba Besa Builders for Old Settlers Park Soccer Fence Project 2026. Old Settlers Park Soccer Fence Project includes 20-foot posts with netting, double rail fence, and 6-foot chain link fence for Soccer Fields.
Harrell Parkway and parking lots are directly adjacent to the soccer fields. The intent of this fencing project at the old settlers park soccer fields is to stop runaway balls from entering Harrell Parkway and adjacent parking lots. The post with net will be behind goal boxes, and the fence will be everywhere else. The netting and the fence will create safer conditions and prevent traffic disruptions.
Cost: $155,340.00
