Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Round Rock Industrial Equipment Co., for the replacement of lockers at the Police Department.

A new program submitted by the Police Department and approved by Council for this budget year was to remove all the single stacked lockers at the Police Department and replace them with double stackable lockers. This replacement will allow new officers the ability to have a locker in the locker room.
Total scope of work will be for the replacement and upgrade to 171 men’s lockers and 48 women’s lockers.
Three vendors submitted responses; Round Rock Industrial Equipment Co. $100,905, Sullivan Contracting Services $194,846; and NellCo Specialties, Inc. deemed non-responsive. Round Rock Industrial Equipment Co. offers the best value to the City. This resolution is to authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with Round Rock Industrial Equipment Co. for replacement of lockers at the Police Department.
