Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract with No-DigTec, LLC for the Rawhide Waterline Replacement Project.

As a part of the on-going program to replace aging asbestos-cement waterlines within the City, this project will replace approximately 1,400 linear feet of 8-inch waterline. It will replace the waterline on Rawhide Drive and Old West Drive located just west of the intersection of IH-35 and Hester's Crossing behind the Flix Brewhouse shopping center. This waterline has experienced several waterline leaks over the past two years and is in need of replacement.
No-DigTec, LLC won this contract award through the TIPS (The Interlocal Purchasing System) Co-op. Finance has approved this purchasing method and the City has performed other projects and acquisitions using this same method.
Cost: $1,276,513.67
