Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement for Fire Protection and Emergency Services with Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 9.

This ILA is between the City of Round Rock and Williamson County ESD9. In May 2025, ESD9 won, through an election, the ability to collect up to 2% in sales tax for their district. This new agreement remains the same for funding on property tax, where a minimum of 90% of the property tax collected will go to the 3 fire departments (Round Rock, Sam Bass, and Leander) that provide services to ESD9 but also allows the ESD to give at a minimum, 90% of sales tax collected to the departments providing services to their area.
