Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Water and Wastewater Service Contract with Williamson County regarding the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park.

Body

The Southwest Williamson County Regional Park is located along County Road 175, just north of New Hope Drive, within Round Rock’s water and wastewater service area. The park lies outside the City Limits and therefore requires a service contract to receive utility services.

The City of Round Rock entered into a service contract with Williamson County for the park property on September 12, 2012. That agreement has since expired, and Williamson County is seeking to execute a new contract.

Similar to the previous agreement, the proposed contract will allow for water and wastewater service equivalent to 52 living unit equivalents (LUEs). The term of the new contract will be 20 years.
