Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 5 with Cash Construction Co. Inc., for the Southwest Downtown District Infrastructure Improvements Phase 5A Project.

SWDT 5A is a complete rehab of the downtown area including Mays Street with new utilities, new traffic patterns, new sidewalks, street lighting and duct banks for the dry utilities to relocate underground and gateway arches at both ends of the project.
This change order includes additional concrete curbs, curb ramps, retaining walls, improved halo lighting for gateway arches, hand rails and bollards.
The quantity adjustment portion includes additional concrete flat work and sidewalks, extensions for driveways, valley gutters, stamped concrete for medians, additional street lights and #10 wire, removal of additional existing lights that were not included in the original contract.
Also deductions for tree installation, and ornamental trees that were not installed. The total for both the change order and the quantity adjustment is $ 582,785.50.
Cost: $582,785.50
