Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Williamson County regarding cost sharing related to the Deep Wood Drive Project.

The Deep Wood Drive Extension project is another project identified in Round Rock's Transportation Master Plan. This project will extend Deep Wood Drive from RM 620 to Sam Bass Road. The extension is being constructed as an urban arterial four-lane divided roadway with curb and gutter within a minimum 120 foot ROW.
This Interlocal Agreement with Williamson County brings the County alongside the City as a financial partner to partially fund the construction work. This agreement would allot for funding reimbursement from Williamson County at a 50/50 split between the City and County for design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction costs. The County's portion will be for a not-to-exceed amount of $11,000,000. Staff recommends formalizing the City's partnership with the County with approval of this Interlocal Agreement.
