Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Contract for Engineering Services with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for the Intersections Geometric Improvements and Signal Design project.

The scope of this project is to improve the current signal at RM 620 and Lake Creek Drive, to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of S. Mays St. and Mays Crossing Drive, and install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Greenlawn Blvd and Pflugervile Pkwy. The signal improvements being done at the intersection of RM 620 and Lake Creek Drive will also include improving driveway access to businesses on the north side of the intersection. Traffic analysis were conducted and met the criteria under Chapter 4C of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for the proposed traffic signals at S. Mays St. at Mays Crossing Drive, and Greenlawn Blvd at Pflugerville Pkwy. The signal improvements being done at the intersection of S. Mays St. and Mays Crossing Drive will also include improving driveway access to the businesses on the east side of the intersection.
