Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Crafco, Inc. for asphalt crack fill material.

The crackfill material is needed for our two crews that focus solely on crackfill of city streets. This process is part of our annual street maintenance to effectively lock out moisture and other contaminants from penetrating the cracks in the pavement surface which subsequently cause deterioration to the subgrade under the asphalt causing premature failure of roads. We aim to seal approximately 450,000 linear feet per year of cracking. In 2023, we sealed approximately 560,000 linear feet. This contract is needed to procure the material for this operation.
This contract is a 60 months (5-year). A not-to-exceed amount of $54,000 per year totaling $270,000.00.
Cost: $270,000.00
