Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Team Marathon Fitness Inc. d/b/a "Marathon Fitness" for the purchase of exercise equipment and installation services.

This item allows the City to enter into an agreement with Marathon Fitness for the purchase and installation of fitness equipment for the Athletic Performance Center (APC). The APC is a portion of the OSP Buildout Project and is expected to be complete around April 2027.
The City has contracted with Marathon Fitness on multiple projects in the past and has had a positive experience on those projects. Marathon Fitness will coordinate, purchase, and install equipment from the various equipment manufacturers being used on the APC Project. This variety of equipment allows for a range of exercise movements, skill levels, and intensity levels to meet the diversity of member needs at the facility. Entering into the agreement now allows the City to confirm pricing and initiate the purchasing process early enough to allow the manufacturers to build and deliver the volume of equipment needed for the project in the established time frame.
The purchase is expected to be around $895,000 with an expected delivery date in early 2027.
Cost: $925,000.00 (Not to exceed)
